Hero's Journey Retreats are safe havens for people who desire sober and healthy alternatives to traditional holiday activities as well as a break from the ordinary world. We focus on practices that increase energy and provide relief from stress and anxiety. Our centering practices include deep breathing, prayer, and guided and moving meditation. Our grounding practices include Qi Gong, music, song, dance, poetry, healing massage, food, and fellowship. In addition, we provide guided reflections on themes such as discovering hidden strengths, overcoming obstacles, and achieving greatness. We use journaling as a tool to help participants understand that they are on a hero’s journey and they have a story to tell.
